Get More From Your Kettlebell Workouts with Hustle Fitness

Hustle Fitness

Kettlebells are one of the most popular tools in fitness today. If you want to learn more about how to use them effectively, sign up for the Hustle Fitness Kettlebell Workshop on Sunday June 7th. From 10am-Noon, owner/trainer Joshua Douglas will be teaching techniques for effective and efficient kettlebell training. Learning these techniques will help you move better and workout with better form, which in turn helps to build more muscle and burn more fat.

Josh is certified in kettlebell training with SFG and is eager to share his expertise with Hustle Fitness members and the community at large. Sunday’s workshop will be the 2nd of two workshops ran at Hustle Fitness on the topic. Last week members were treated to a skills session that included tips on things most people don’t even realize are related to kettlebells like stretching and warming up in a way that properly readies your body for the lifts, as well as specific training tips on muscle tension and proper form.

Focusing on simple exercises members use in class every day like squats and overhead presses, Josh teaches how to correct common form mistakes that stop people from activating all their muscles properly.  The workshop also teaches more advanced techniques, like the Turkish Get Up, which is a total body movement that develops strength and skill, and improves mobility while also providing a metabolic impact.
